As we have been tackling more responsive projects, we wanted a way to quickly find the screen specifications of the most popular devices and monitors currently on the market.
So we built screensiz.es, a nifty little database of, well, screen sizes. You can sort by several device specifications, like pixel dimensions, physical size, pixel density, and even “Popularity” (we’re using average monthly Google queries, and some fuzzy math... it’s not scientific, but it's better than nothing).
This has been helping us focus in on design and development decisions that will have the biggest impact on a project’s audience. We thought our web-crafting friends might find it useful as well, so we're putting out as a free resource for anyone to use.
This is a work in progress, so If we’re missing an important device, or if any numbers look wonky, please let us know.
